London's Daily Mirror picks up Arnett
Arnett says US does not want credible reporting from Iraq - By Khalid Hasan
[via Daily Times]
Peter Arnett has been picked up to continue reporting in Iraq. He also has some comments regarding the incident in which he calls it his "Waterloo" and the future of his career.

I think protecting the troops information is more important then live video broadcasts, however this whole string of events raises some questions for me anyhow about other motives.

Benedict Arnett is more like it. His coverage of the Gulf War and now this Iraq coverage has been so biased. Watch out Daily Mirror, he will stab you in the back also.

I suppose the Daily Mirror believes it is now getting some top-ranked reporting from Mr. Arnett? Does the Mirror think that perhaps Peter has now seen the "most recent war plan" and is as prepared to evaluate its success/failure as he was the first war plan that "failed so miserably" in his words? Seems as though Peter himself failed miserably in evaluating a war plan he never saw in the first place! Peter Arnett is a joke and anathma to good news reporting; he lends absolutely zero credibility to any news agency that employs him!
