down day
I stayed home today. Last week I had a rough time switching back to a daytime schedule which is what I do every week. My Wed. - Fri. schedule usually doesn't put me in bed until 4-5am. I've been doing this for over a month and this weekend I failed to push myself back to my 7am wakeup time. On top of that I was feeling like crud but I had a lot of work to do so I just called in sick.
I set my alarm for 9:45am and had 2 conference calls lined up. Then I worked on some other stuff until early this afternoon. I can't help but feel like I'm falling into the "work more hours but get less done" trap. Oh well at least I'm getting stuff done.
