things taken and given
Most of us are very fortunate people yet losing things that are important to us is devastating. How about multiple things very near and dear to us being taken away in a short period of time?
I thought to myself today about how things we have most likely will be gone at some point in time. The key word being time. How often do you hear "If any more happens right now, I don't think I can handle it." or "Now isn't a good time for things to go wrong." Well... time is something we can't control yet it's one of the key elements in dictating how we feel when things happen.
Reflecting on everything, this year has been tough. I've lost a future mother-in-law to CJD and an uncle to heart disease. I also believe bad things come in threes.
